Installation of Fibre Broadband by “Maxperts” also known as mesh wifi
“Maxperts” is the name Maxis gives to its internet technicians. In Addition, these installers go above and beyond to optimize their WiFi configuration so that customers receive the best WiFi coverage in addition to installing the fiber broadband service at the customer’s house. So, these Maxperts are now providing Mesh Wifi Extenders, which are available at RM19/Month, to provide a better Internet experience, particularly in a large house.
The penalty charge and termination policies vary between Maxis and Telekom Malaysia (Unifi).
There is no notification need to end a MaxisONE Home Fibre package (within the terms of the deal). Moreover, no matter how many months are left in their contract, a client must come into a Maxis Center with their modem or router and pay an RM500 penalty charge.
Because the HSBB network, which is run by Telekom Malaysia, isn’t always accessible to all users, Maxis is providing its 4G LTE mobile network as a backup Internet option for Prime subscribers.
MaxisONE Prime is a bundle of a Maxis Postpaid plan with a Maxis Fibre broadband service, and it costs at least RM187 per month, minus service tax. Therefore, these clients will receive a 4G LTE dongle to pair with their home fibre modem so they may continue to access the Internet even when their Home Fibre service is down or unavailable.
